Thanks Mike. Just been listening to Liz Lambert ( Number 8 Workers Union) . In her opinion Liz Gunn should wait for the sentence and not bother appealing, as in her opinion "the slightest touch" can be legally viewed as assault. Matthew Haig will be putting in submissions prior to sentencing ( which will be based on the seriousness of the "assault" ) and could possibly use the Brett Power case, where Brett was fined $500 for a more serious incident. She reminded us that Liz could also take a case against the police. Liz should take the wins , such as , Liz has become an even bigger hero, coverage in the papers xposing the police behaviour, the police are shown to be thugs once again....

As a NZL supporter I heartily agree with you Mike that Liz is an integral part of proceeding forward in a different role. Your vision is more in keeping of a regenerative movement with Liz at the helm and I would be very willing to get behind this. I think our electoral l system is woefully corrupted so prefer to support a whole new approach and bring back local borough councils that distance ourselves from Government's strangle hold. We saw fine NZL representatives in the leadup to the elections so it's a good vision to hold on to. Thank you Mike for your encouragement of Liz and a fresh vision.
